Yeah...I'm kind of leaning towards her hair being more filled in, as well. Except, like you said, the random scribblies really are a part of her personality. I guess I'll just have to fiddle with how to do it and see if there's more of a compromise.
Do you think it needs color? I hadn't really been planning on it... I'm just having tons of fun with black and white currently.
And as for her name, well, I thought the drawing needed something more, so I just added that in last.

Yeah, I would play around and see what seems to fit it best. I love the soft kind of bouncy style you have in her though and the random little curlies, they're cute!
I don't think it needs color, but again, you could experiment a little if you so desired. The words are cool, they give the composition a nice ground.
